Happy Transfiguration Sunday!. This coming week starts the special season of Lent, leading up to Easter. We’ll commemorate Ash Wednesday at 5:30 on Wednesday 3/2, before Bible Study. Food Pantry will be open on Tuesday 5:30 to 7 pm as usual. Welcome to church!

Father in Heaven, creator of all that is good and right in life, Lord today we humbly thank you for all of your good in our world, and ask your forgiveness when we have not included you in our thoughts and prayers. Please teach us to be more like you Father, and to grow stronger in your love each day. Amen!

Father, Thank you for all you have given us, and we pray that you will show us how to be closer to you! Please forgive us our many sins as we learn how to forgive others. Amen!

       I want to welcome all of you to the second Sunday after Epiphany, or my thought, the second Sunday of Epiphany. Since we are living a life with the Lord in it, maybe we should try to act as we were really living Epiphany each day with our Lord a part of our lives and making a change in us for the good, permanently!

Welcome to 2022! This month we’re continuing with Sunday School and Worship Service on Sundays, Food Pantry and Soup sisters on Tuesday evenings, and Bible Study on Wednesday evenings. Saturdays will be busy too, with the church Board meeting on 1/15, Women meeting at church on 1/22 at 11 am, and Men meeting at Lee’s Diner on 2nd St. on 1/29 at 8 am. Welcome to church!

Father of Heaven and beyond, today Lord we humbly come to you with great thanks for all of the miracles you work in the universe each and every day. We thank you Lord for our very being, as we pray that you would forgive our manifold sin, and help us to grow closer to a deeper walk with and in you. Amen!

What is Epiphany? Enter The King

Merry Christmas! Welcome to church on Tuesday 5:30-7 pm for a special Food bank/Soup Sisters, and on Christmas Eve (Thursday) at 6 pm for a special candlelight service.

It’s the third Sunday of Advent: light a candle for Joy! The ultimate joy that comes from lives turned around and the good news of Jesus, as David Fowler spoke about in today’s message.

Mark your calendars for lots of Christmas activities coming up:

• Tuesday December 14 5:30 to 7 pm: Food Pantry is open, plus a hot meal to-go prepared by the “Soup Sisters” plus friends from the Riverdale Ward will be singing Christmas Carols on the front porch.
• Wednesdays: no Bible Study for the rest of December
• Thursday December 16 1:30 pm: Visting Aspen Care to sing Christmas Carols
• Saturday December 18 11 am: Women’s Christmas Party at church! Bring a wrapped white elephant gift. A special lunch will be served.
• Sunday December 19: Sunday School (9:45 am), Worship Service (11 am) followed a special Christmas Dinner in the Fellowship Hall
• Tuesday December 24 at 6 pm: Christmas Even Candlelight Service at church. Invite your friends!
