Praying from ‘our Jerusalem’ to ‘the ends of the earth’.

This Sunday, using Acts 1:8 ( “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”) as a model, we’re going to pray for the global community. We’ll start by praying for the local community, and expand outward, until we’re praying for the whole world.  And there is a lot to pray for.  All you have to do is watch the news and your heart should be burdened.  And even if there were no terrorist attacks, if there were no bombings, no school shootings, not officer involved shootings, no drug or human trafficking, no slavery of any kind, there are still unreached and unengaged people groups.  Millions of people who still need to hear the gospel before the end will come. (see Matt 24:14– “ And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”)

Hope to see you Sunday!
