thank you

A big shout out to all those who helped in any way with the Easter service. Andrew and his trumpet were a great addition to the choir.  So many people helped in so many ways with the breakfast, the music, cleaning up before and after, ushers, communion prep, flowers : lilies and the cross, and anything else I may have forgotten.

Along the same lines, I want to thank everyone who help in any way with Brady’s service yesterday, from the opening notes on the bagpipe as the casket was escorted into the sanctuary, through the closing notes of Amazing Grace, as the casket was escorted out,  it was a wonderful service. I’ve heard nothing but compliments about the meal, the music, the service, and some folks even commented on what a wonderful sense of ‘warmth – not the furnace, but the love and sense of community) that they noticed here.

Again these things don’t just happen. A lot of people put in a lot of time and effort before, during and after. I hesitate to list names, because someone always (unintentionally) gets left off the list resulting in hurt feelings that were never meant to be hurt. If you helped in anyway, front and center, or behind the scenes, we appreciate it! Thanks again
