We’re really excited to be starting a new program intended to benefit families with children in our neighborhood. We have been accepting donations of gently used clothing and starting next Saturday (Mar 22) (Watch for exact times) we’ll have the clothes available. We know that kids outgrow their clothing fairly quickly, and that new clothes are expensive. The idea is that people can bring in an article of clothing that they no longer need and swap it for something else that fits their needs. To start this will be once a month, for a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. Thanks to Wayne F. for the great idea, to Robyn A. for agreeing to oversee the program, and to all who donated clothes so we can get started. A special thanks to Madi L. and Bailee O. members of the National Honor Society at NUAMES Early College High School who spearheaded a clothing drive at the school to support us. Go Nighthawks!
